Cotton loofah

One of my biggest sellers has always been my bath products - loofahs and  washcloths, particularly (you can find them on my website--just click here). The best part about them is how versatile they are; I use them for bath time as well as cleaning around the house. They are made of 100% cotton yarn and are safe to put in the washing machine as well as the dryer.

Here is what you need to make them:
H hook (you can use a smaller or larger hook depending on how large of a loofah you want)
100% cotton yarn
Yarn needle (to weave in ends)
Pattern is written using US crochet terms:
Ch: chain
sl st: slip stitch
hdc: half-double crochet
dc: double crochet

Ch 5, sl st to first Ch to create loop.
Ch 35, sl st to small loop to create large loop (creates handle)
Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as first hdc), 34 hdc into small loop, sl st to first hdc to join (35 st)
Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc throughout), 2 dc in first hdc, 3 dc in each HDC around, sl st to first dc to join (105 st)
Round 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in first dc, 3 dc in each DC around, sl st to first dc to join (315 st)

Round 4: Ch 3, 2 dc in first dc, 3 dc in each dc, sl st to first dc to join (945 st)

(side note: please do not copy and sell the pattern as your own. If you would like to use the pattern to make and sell the final product, it's cool - just show some love and give credit back to me when you do it) :)

This is always easier of course if your kid doesn't try to steal you yarn, like my kids love to do :-D
